Life, love, energy, artistry, and glass fused into a synergistic flow of creation, extracted from the essence of the world, artist Chantale Langlois uses fine art techniques to give life to her glass sculptural pieces in an eclectic style. Chantale Langlois mused, "My inspiration greets me each moment of each day and as the time passes into the next moment a new subject beckons me to react - to create."

Born and raised in Canada, on the outskirts of metropolitan Quebec, by age twelve Chantale moved between school and work, assisting her mother in interior floral design. From a very early age, the beauty of the lines and color of her subject lured her. Her first job offer following her education was in the fashion industry, Chantale soon opened her own store in urban Quebec, called Graffiti Station, which specialized in progressive fashion. Later she enrolled in school to study interior design.

But it was a defining moment at a vendor show, where Chantale's amor fati was unveiled. A vendor from a participating booth took note of Chantale's expedient customer service and professional aptitude, and Chantale enticed by the beauty of their display, ventured over to them. Soon after she was brought on board as a glass art assistant with their company. Thus, begins Chantale's love affair with glass. She vigorously learned glass art by assisting the owner of the studio and over time, she could produce stained, etched, and slumped glass. In addition, Chantale taught classes, sold supplies, worked in retail and wholesale, and created her own custom work for commissioned requests. Fearless and curious, Chantale moved to Sarasota in 2000 to learn English and solidify her knowledge in the glass industry, which is mostly traded in English. A new journey for Chantale began.

In 2004, she met and married her love, who moved her into a new studio in downtown Sarasota. Chantale Langlois Design in Glass Studio specialized in kiln forming glass artwork.

Currently, she has moved Chantale Langlois Design in Glass Studio from downtown to a fully functioning one-acre property in the heart of Sarasota, where all scales of glass art are created. This new location is her dream studio where she plays and creates within a private environment.

A world of iridescence, a lure of beauty, lines, colors; textures are fused in each and every art piece.
